  1. The Meeting agreed that a reception be held to commemorate the first anniversary of the Tripartite Forum, to be held in the Church Center (2 nd Floor), 777 UN Plaza, from 1:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Friday, 23 March 2007. The Philippines requested partners and observers of the Tripartite Forum to consider contributing food or drinks (coordinated with Camille Macalintal of the Philippine Mission) and also requested the NGO partners to make necessary arrangements for the use of the Church Center facility,

The Meeting agreed to mark the second anniversary of the Conference on Interfaith Cooperation for Peace, which was the basis for the creation of the Tripartite Forum, through a launching of the publication of the proceedings of the Conference, at the margins of the General Assembly’s thematic debate on Dialogue among Civilizations on 10 May 2007.
  3. The Meeting decided to resume the holding of the monthly Information Session on activities of partners and observers relating to interfaith dialogue and cooperation, and agreed that for the month of April 2007, it will be the turn of the Committee of Religious NGOs at the UN to organize it; UNEP was requested to make a presentation for the month of May 2007 and the Russian Federation for the month of June 2007.
  4. The Meeting discussed the implementation of resolution A/RES/61/221 entitled “Promotion of interreligious and intercultural dialogue, understanding and cooperation for peace” in particular the legislative mandate for the holding in 2007 of a high level Interreligious and intercultural dialogue, and recommended that:
    • It should be preceded by interactive hearings with civil society in accordance with the practice of doing so prior to a high level dialogue, to be held preferably on 4 September 2007 prior to the annual DPI-NGO meetings.
    • The high level dialogue should take into account the need for the participation of civil society, in particular the participation of representatives of the four major religions of the world, to be held preferably on 24 September 2007.

5. I t was decided that the next open-ended meeting of the Troika be held on 11 April 2007. The Chair of the Troika will announce the venue and time of the meeting after confirmation of the use of a UN Conference Room.
